{"id":7021,"date":"2024-09-17T10:08:06","date_gmt":"2024-09-17T09:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allgogiftcard.com\/?post_type=faqs&#038;p=7021"},"modified":"2025-10-13T16:34:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T15:34:41","slug":"retailers-or-transactions-where-allgo-mastercard-cannot-be-used","status":"publish","type":"faqs","link":"https:\/\/allgogiftcard.com\/faqs\/retailers-or-transactions-where-allgo-mastercard-cannot-be-used\/","title":{"rendered":"Are there any retailers or transactions where AllGo Mastercard cannot be used?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Even though the AllGo Mastercard is accepted at millions of instore and online retailers, there are some places where the card cannot be spent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retailers who Don&#8217;t Accept AllGo Mastercard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Ireland, there only retailers that we are aware of that don\u2019t accept the AllGo Mastercard Gift Card are-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Three Ireland Stores<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Vodafone Ireland Stores<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Circle K<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Applegreen<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Power City<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EZ Living<\/span>, they process instore payments through their ecommerce site so you must have <a href=\"https:\/\/allgogiftcard.com\/physical-card\/#3DSecure_Physical\">3D Secure<\/a> enabled on your card to facilitate this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Some business have their <strong>payment systems configured as a recurring payments<\/strong>, even if the transaction is a once-off. These types of transactions are blocked (see &#8220;Transactions Types that are Blocked&#8221; below). Examples include online travel agents such as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Loveholidays.ie<\/span> and Key Camp Holidays though you can pay for airline tickets on websites such as Ryanair.com and AerLingus.com <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cult Beauty<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lookfantastic.com<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MyProtein<\/span> are examples of other online retailers who classify their payments as \u2018recurring\u2019 and will therefore fail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transactions Types that are Blocked from accepting AllGo Mastercard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For security and fraud reasons, some types of transactions are blocked from accepting pre-paid gift cards &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Charity<\/strong> donations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Money <strong>transfer<\/strong> or <strong>withdrawal<\/strong> e.g. PayPal, Credit Union, Revolut, ATM withdrawal etc as these would contravene the Small Benefit Scheme rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Subscriptions<\/strong> or<strong> Recurring Payments<\/strong> e.g. Netflix, Spotify, Electricity Bills cannot be facilitated as there is a finite balance on the AllGo Mastercard, but most subscriptions have an infinite renewal.
